HOW TO SET A FLASHDISK TO BE A BOOTABLE BY COMMAND PROMPT

Oke.. Let's go ! How to set a flashdisk to be a bootable ?
Check it out..

1. Instal your flashdisk to your computer.
2. Open Command Prompt in your computer.

3. Type "diskpart" then Enter.


4. If you have entered in Diskpart, type "list disk" to see what disk your flashdisk in your computer is.

5. Select your flashdisk by seeing the capacity of your flashdisk. (in this tutorial the flashdisk is in DISK 2). Type "select disk 2" to select it.

6. After selecting we need to clean the flashdisk by typing "clean". It will remove all files in your flashdisk.

7. After being cleaned the flashdisk can't still be used, because there is no partition in it. So that we need to create it by typing "create partition primary".

8. See option for partition in "lisk partition". Then, select what partition we need by "select partition 1" (1 is just an example. We can change it with others)

9. Type "active" and then type "format fs=NTFS". Why does it have to be NTFS ?

10. After long time waiting, type "assign" to finish it.

11. The last type "exit" to exit from diskpart and ..

CONGRATULATION !!! You have finished setting it. For the next step, just extract or copy OS files to the flashdisk and use it to be bootable in BIOS setting in installing OS.

Now one, it's possible to use a flashdisk to make it. Okay, here is the tutorial .. 1. Run an application to set flashdisk to be a bootable. here is RUFUS. 2. Make sure that you have chosen the right device for making it. Check your flashdisk  drive and place it in Device tab. 3. Next, set NTFS for the file system. why does it have to be NTFS ?
